About The Position

Makse Group is seeking Associate Consultants to solve client business challenges and translate requirements into clear strategies and solutions. The role involves applying professional judgment to advise clients on Workday solutions that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. It is suited to individuals interested in business technology consulting who have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and can work independently in a client-facing environment.

Associate Consultants develop their Workday knowledge through firm resources and training, and participate in system implementation phases from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration planning, testing, deployment, and post-production support. They advise clients on testing Workday HR, payroll, and financial transactions; create process and solution visuals; develop end-user training approaches and materials; configure modules; troubleshoot issues; identify optimization opportunities; and manage assigned project deliverables using firm tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, including the capacity to exercise independent judgment.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence advising and engaging senior business leaders.
• Strong client-facing skills, including requirements gathering, clear documentation, and effective presentation of findings or solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to client needs.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Use firm resources and training programs to develop knowledge of Workday functionality and apply it to client solution strategies.
• Lead and participate in system implementation phases, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration approach, testing strategy, deployment planning, and post-production support.
• Advise and assist clients in testing Workday HR, payroll, and financial transactions through unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and parallel testing.
• Develop and present processes, solution designs, and integration flows using flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual tools.
• Design end-user training approaches and support materials to promote adoption and process improvements.
• Configure system modules according to established best practices and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes in system configuration, integrations, or data, and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to identify and recommend system optimization and enhancement opportunities.
• Manage assigned tasks and deliverables using firm-provided project management tools and methodologies.
