About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking freelance teachers of 99+ languages. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for an English teacher for two clients in Palo Alto. These students will be in the US for a short period, so the lessons must take place within the specified dates. The course type is Business, with a two-to-one format, totaling 10 hours of instruction. Each session will be two hours long and should take place at the students' location in Palo Alto. The students are at an advanced level, aged 35-44. Lessons are scheduled for August 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The goal is practical American English, focusing on small talk, business dinners, networking conversations, idioms, casual American expressions, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and overall confidence. The sessions will include role plays around coffee chats, business dinners, investor conversations, introductions, follow-ups, and personal stories.

Requirements

Be a native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Have a valid work permit/visa.
Live within 20 miles of Palo Alto.
Be available for lessons on August 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
