About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a German Teacher for a client in Bellevue, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general German course with a total of 57.5 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The lessons are to be held at the trainer's place in Bellevue. The student is at an elementary level, aged 56-64, and motivated by music and culture. The schedule is flexible, with lessons once per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 10 am and 2:30 pm. The start date is September 24, 2026. The hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Bellevue.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one German language training to an elementary-level student.
- Conduct lessons at the trainer's place in Bellevue.
- Adapt teaching methods to student's motivation (music and culture).
