About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Greek Teacher for a client in Washington, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general course with a total of 20 hours, consisting of ten two-hour sessions. The student is a beginner, aged 56-64, with an interest in their Greek heritage and possibly preparing for dual-citizenship application. The schedule is flexible, with sessions once per week, either evenings Monday through Thursday, or morning/afternoon on Saturday. The location can be at the trainer's home/office, somewhere in DC. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The position starts on 2026-08-01.
Requirements
- Native Greek speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of Washington, United States
- Availability for the specified schedule (Evenings Monday through Thursday, or morning / afternoon on Saturday)
- Ability to start on 2026-08-01
