About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Telugu Teacher for a client in Washington, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general Telugu course with a total of 52 hours, with each session lasting two hours. The student is a beginner, aged 25-34, motivated by an interest in Tollywood movies and the desire to understand and speak the language for personal enjoyment. The schedule is flexible, with sessions once per week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 1pm and 3pm. The location is at the trainer's office, near the client's location in Washington, D.C. 22314. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native Telugu speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Washington, D.C. 22314.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Availability for the specified schedule or flexibility.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Telugu language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct two-hour sessions once per week.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule and location if necessary.
- Communicate availability and earliest possible start date to Language Trainers.
