About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Telugu Teacher for a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general language course in Edmonton, Canada. The course involves 32 total hours, with sessions of two hours each, scheduled once per week. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, motivated to speak with Telugu family members. The preferred day is Tuesday, with Thursday as an alternate, between 5pm-9pm for in-person sessions or 7pm-8pm for online sessions. The location is flexible and can be at the trainer's office or online. The start date is as soon as possible. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Native Telugu speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Ability to live within 30 km of Edmonton, Canada (T8H 2W5).
- Availability for sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 5pm-9pm (in-person) or 7pm-8pm (online).

Responsibilities
