About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Hindi teacher for a client in Vancouver, BC. This is a one-to-one general language course consisting of 30 total hours, spread over 15 two-hour sessions. The lessons will take place at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Vancouver. The student is a beginner, a 40-year-old lady who wants to surprise her husband, a native Hindi speaker. The schedule is once per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 3pm and 8pm. The course is expected to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native Hindi speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 30 km of Vancouver, BC.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Hindi language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct lessons at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Vancouver.
- Adhere to a schedule of once per week, on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 3pm and 8pm.
- Complete a total of 30 hours of instruction (15 x 2-hour sessions).
