About The Position
Language Trainers, an international language training company founded in 2004, is seeking a freelance Mandarin Chinese language tutor for a client in Tampa, FL. The client is a 37-year-old lady who is a beginner in Mandarin and needs to learn for personal and professional reasons. The course will consist of 30 total hours, with 15 sessions of 2 hours each. The format is one-to-one, focusing on general and business Mandarin. The ideal candidate will be a native Mandarin speaker with teaching experience and a valid work permit. The schedule is flexible but ideally Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 6 pm, with sessions held at the teacher's home/office or a public location in Tampa, FL. The hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Tampa, FL.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Availability for scheduling.
- Earliest possible start date.
- Must meet stated conditions (e.g., not requiring visa sponsorship).
