About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Mandarin Chinese teacher for a client in Phoenix, United States. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general language course for beginner students aged 14 and 17. The total hours are 20, with two-hour sessions, scheduled once per week on Wednesdays between 1pm and 4pm. The lessons will take place at the client's home in Phoenix (85226). The students' motivation for learning is to travel to China in October. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (Phoenix, 85226).
- Availability to start on 2026-07-15.
- Availability to teach on Wednesdays between 1pm and 4pm.
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Mandarin Chinese lessons to beginner students.
