About The Position
Language Trainers, an international language training company founded in 2004, is seeking a freelance Tagalog Teacher for a client in Memphis, United States. The company's motto is 'Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere,' and they provide customized language training to professionals and private students for various purposes. This specific role involves one-to-one general Tagalog training for a beginner student aged 56-64. The course is for a total of 30 hours, with two-hour lessons scheduled twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. The lessons will take place at The Benjamin Hooks Central Library - 3030 Poplar, Memphis TN 38111. The start date is as soon as possible. The student's motivation for learning Tagalog is to connect with friends in the Philippines.
Requirements
- Native Tagalog speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location (The Benjamin Hooks Central Library - 3030 Poplar, Memphis TN 38111).
- Ability to provide CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
