About The Position

Kasasa is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead development teams in creating new products and supporting existing technologies. The primary technology stack includes JAVA & PHP. This role requires a leader who can actively participate with developers and architects on a technical level, getting into code, reviewing designs, and performing code reviews when necessary. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Preferred in STEM).
  • Worked in both enterprise and consumer technologies.
  • Led development teams building software products for at least five years.
  • A minimum of at least 15 years of software engineering experience.
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
  • Hybrid work model: at least three full workdays in the office each week, with the option to work remotely for the remaining two days.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree is highly desired.
  • Experience with the financial services industry is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Value and have experience with the tenets of Agile and a strong DevOps culture.
  • Engage in value-added conversations with Architects and Developers.
  • Be comfortable getting into code (primary languages JAVA and PHP), reviewing designs, and doing code reviews if required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events as required.
