By joining our District 12, Project Development Branch, Design Section office as a Engineer-in-Training II in Pike County, you’ll have the opportunity to perform technical engineering work to develop practical skills.
Requirements
- Time Management

- Valid Driver’s License
- Certification as an Engineer-In-Training recognized by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Graduate of a college or university with an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Must have two years of engineering experience as an Engineer-In-Training.
- Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification.
- Certification as an Engineer-In-Training recognized by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
Nice To Haves
- A master's degree in engineering will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediately complex engineering work on projects with a larger scope of work to develop practical skills for future registration as a professional engineer.
- Review intermediately complex projects to determine if projects are in line with engineering practices.
- Organizing and conducting meetings in the planning, and design of projects
- Develops and maintains project documentation.
