About The Position

Engineers in Training complete a rotational assignment program through various positions in Operations, Engineering, and other areas as requested. The objective is to gain experience and graduate to a full-time process engineer once the rotation is complete.

Requirements

BS degree in a technically related field.
Strong blueprint reading and computer skills.
Strong organizational abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have problem solving ability.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Must have initiative to follow through the steps required.
Must be able to work with all levels of the organization.
Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts and machinery.
Ability to communicate to customers and employees.
Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

Perform duties per jobs assigned in the rotational program.
Complete all assignments, projects and training requirements as assigned.
Complete overview presentations as scheduled of rotational assignment highlights.
Understand and follow all SOPs and WIs related to job duties.
Support 6S and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Ensure all documentation, digital data and related internal communications are handled in an appropriate and timely manner.
Ensure communications with all personnel occurs on a timely basis.
