About The Position

AMIkids is seeking a compassionate, committed part-time Engagement Coach to guide youth in academic and workforce development activities. The role helps create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where young people can build skills, confidence, and a path toward a brighter future. The position uses the AMIkids Way and Personal Growth Model to support positive choices and youth development.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• Two years of experience working with middle- or high-school-aged youth.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Passion for working with youth and helping them succeed in school, life, and work.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong advisory relationships with youth while guiding them through academic and/or workforce development programming.
• Support youth in making positive behavior choices using the AMIkids Way and Personal Growth Model.
• Supervise youth and ensure their safety in accordance with operational and contractual guidelines.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring and academic guidance through a hands-on approach.
• Lead advisory sessions and track youth progress toward educational and behavioral goals.
• Help youth develop personal responsibility, social and life skills, and job readiness.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support youth engagement and remove obstacles to success.
• Maintain accurate youth records and use instructional resources effectively.
• Participate in field trips, special activities, and community events.
• Attend required training and maintain First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention certifications.
