Mansfield Hall is a living and learning community for neurodivergent college students who are capable of college but are not yet fully ready for total independence. Its work is organized around Living (independent living skills), Learning (academic and executive functioning), Giving (community involvement), and Engaging (social and emotional growth). Coaches support these areas through day-to-day, in-the-moment work rather than classroom instruction. The Community Engagement Coach provides direct support to residential students as they navigate daily schedules, community expectations, social situations, and individual goals. The role includes helping students follow their Student MAP routines, building supportive and professionally boundaried relationships, addressing well-being concerns, facilitating social interactions, and coordinating extracurricular activities. The Coach also monitors and documents progress, manages the on-call staff phone during their shift, and assists with meal setup and upkeep of community spaces. This part-time role pays $22 per hour. Some weekday morning shifts begin at 7:30 AM, combined with some weekend evening shifts from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Benefits may be prorated or subject to part-time eligibility.
