Energy Service Technician
About The Position
Country Visions Cooperative is hiring an Energy Service Technician in Brillion, Wisconsin. No prior experience is necessary. This role involves working both outdoors and indoors with minimal supervision, serving customers, and installing and maintaining fuel, propane, and DEF tanks and systems. The technician will learn and follow applicable propane and fuel system codes, perform safety and compliance testing, communicate safety and repair information to customers, and support fuel delivery operations as a backup or relief driver. The position typically works first-shift hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and participates in an on-call rotation, usually once a month, with premium pay. Weekends are not required unless on call.
Requirements
- Possess a valid CDL and Hazmat endorsement.
- Possess a tanker endorsement, or obtain the required endorsements.
- Be willing to obtain a CDL; the cooperative offers 100% reimbursement for CDL schooling.

Responsibilities
- Install fuel, propane, and DEF tanks and systems at customer locations.
- Maintain customer-owned tanks and systems at customer locations.
- Learn and observe propane and fuel system codes for installation and maintenance.
- Deliver and pick up propane tanks from customer locations.
- Communicate safety and repair information effectively to customers.
- Participate in the after-hours and weekend on-call service rotation.
- Learn to perform safety and compliance tests, check systems for proper operation, and relight pilot lights at customer locations.
- Maintain the company-owned fleet of portable fuel tanks.
- Install and repair petroleum pumps on fuel tanks.
- Obtain CDL, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
- Deliver propane or petroleum in a commercial propane truck as a backup or relief driver.
