About The Position

Adena Health is hiring an EMT Basic for Adena EMS at its Chillicothe main campus. The role provides appropriate emergency medical care and transportation within the EMT-Basic scope of practice and in accordance with company standards and procedures. The position is full-time day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with work every third weekend. On-call duty is not required. The hourly rate is based on years of experience and education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ohio EMT-Basic certification.
• EVOC certification.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to be insurable under the company's insurance.

Nice To Haves

• NREMT Basic Certification.
• 2 years of private or emergent (911) transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate emergency medical care within the EMT-Basic scope of practice.
• Provide transportation within the EMT-Basic scope of practice.
• Follow company standards and procedures.
