About The Position

This position administers medical care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital settings. The employee is required to travel extensively, including some trips outside the county that may require overnight stays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of EMT-IV experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• CDPHE and NREMT EMT Certification or Licensure with IV endorsement, required at hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• BLS Certification, required at hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800.
• Ability to travel extensively, including some trips outside the county that may require overnight stays.
