ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated EMT-B to provide urgent care to patients across New England. The role offers the opportunity to expand clinical skills while working closely with providers and clinical staff in a collaborative, fast-paced setting focused on teamwork, professional growth, and high-quality patient care. The EMT-B welcomes and assists patients, answers questions about medical conditions and treatment, explains prescribed medications and possible adverse reactions, and offers guidance on lifestyle changes, preventive care, and follow-up. The role also supports clinical operations by triaging patients, taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, assisting with minor procedures, and maintaining accurate electronic health records in accordance with privacy regulations. EMT-Bs coordinate with the clinical team, communicate patient updates, collaborate on discharge plans, may assist with discharge, and support training for new clinic team members. The position requires 12-hour shifts. Full-time employees work three shifts per week, including at least four weekend shifts per month. Part-time employees work two shifts per week, including at least two weekend shifts per month. Per-diem employees work four shifts per month, ideally one shift each week. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Employees may need to work at other ConvenientMD locations within one hour of their primary clinic and travel within that distance for training shifts.
