About The Position

The EMS & Safety Manager is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for employees and guests through comprehensive safety planning and programming. The role incorporates loss-prevention strategies and management to protect assets and ensures the company operates within applicable environmental, health, and safety compliance requirements and regulations. The manager oversees the resort EMS department and supports the investigation, documentation, and follow-up of incidents involving guests and associates.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-related position.
• One of the following certifications or credentials is required: National Registry of EMTs (NREMT), State of Wisconsin EMS Licensure, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the resort EMS department.
• Conduct investigations of accidents, close calls, and other safety-related incidents involving guests and/or associates in conjunction with safety leadership.
• Ensure guest and associate incident reports are completed in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
• Manage incident report documentation files and ensure they are well documented and consistent with standards.
• Assist with producing documents when requested by the corporate claims department.
• Complete guest follow-ups after an incident.
