About The Position
Wilmington Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Emergency Medicine team. This role is ideal for an experienced advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys providing high-quality episodic and urgent care.
Requirements
- Current NP or PA license with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or a similar high-acuity outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient-based acute and episodic care in a walk-in/urgent care setting
- Independently evaluate and manage a wide range of non-emergent and urgent conditions
- Perform minor procedures (laceration repair, splinting, joint injections, wound care, etc.)
