About The Position
We’re hiring an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) who wants strong earning potential, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in rural Maine. You’ll step into an Emergency Department role caring for patients of all ages with a diverse range of acute illnesses and injuries. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, perform appropriate procedures, and stabilize patients for transfer when needed, with support from board-certified emergency physicians, fellow providers, nurses, and specialists.
Requirements
- Nationally certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
- Hold or be able to obtain a clear and unrestricted Maine license.
- Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Comfortable treating acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency Department or high-volume urgent care experience is preferred.
- ATLS certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
