JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Emergency Medicine NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Hot Springs, AR • Service Setting: Emergency Department • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: July 1, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible scheduling; shifts based on facility needs COVERAGE DATES • Ongoing coverage; flexible scheduling PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: All ages • Patient Volume/Census: Not Specified • Admissions: Included • Case Mix: Emergency medicine cases in a critical access facility setting FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Critical Access Facility • Office Equipment Available: Standard emergency department equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Supervising physician required • Support Staff Available: Emergency department clinical team • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Malpractice coverage required ($1M/$3M) REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Broad emergency medicine procedures appropriate for critical access setting JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active AR NP or PA license required • Board: AANP/ANCC (NP) or NCCPA (PA) required • DEA: Required with AR address • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS • Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience required • Other Qualifications: Supervising physician required; documentation of case logs and CME/CEU history DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide emergency medical care in critical access setting • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute conditions • Perform emergency procedures as needed • Collaborate with supervising physician and ED team • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

  • Active AR NP or PA license required
  • AANP/ANCC (NP) or NCCPA (PA) required
  • DEA: Required with AR address
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
  • Prior emergency medicine experience required
  • Supervising physician required
  • Documentation of case logs and CME/CEU history
