Emergency Medicine - NP/PA APP
About The Position
Wake Forest Emergency Providers is hiring an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) for emergency medicine at Atrium Union Emergency Department in Monroe, North Carolina. The team serves Atrium Union, Union West, Waxhaw, and Providence emergency departments. APPs rotate among these locations and all shift times, collaborating with emergency department physicians to care for patients across acuity levels. The Union site is a community hospital with a 24-bed emergency department, modern resources and treatment spaces, and annual emergency department volume exceeding 60,000. The hospital has 182 inpatient beds and a pediatric emergency department on site. The role offers 10- and 12-hour shifts with APP-led scheduling, approximately 130–151.67 monthly hours, and approximately two full weekends per month. The department has an experienced nursing team and serves patients from Monroe and surrounding communities. The position also provides access to DAX Copilot, an AI documentation tool integrated with EPIC EMR. The APP must hold a North Carolina PA or NP license. Nurse practitioners must be emergency nurse practitioner (ENP) board-certified or eligible. BLS and ACLS are required before starting. The posted pay range is $59.00–$88.50. The position is full-time and benefits-eligible.

Responsibilities
