About The Position

Medstar Ambulance Michigan is hiring Emergency Calltakers for its Communication Center. Call Takers answer emergency and non-emergency calls, gather critical information, reassure callers, guide them through immediate steps, and ensure crews receive accurate details quickly. The role is the first point of contact for people facing emergencies and helps set lifesaving assistance in motion. Paid on-the-job training is provided. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and multitask in a stressful environment.

• Strong typing skills, assessed through testing.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, assessed through testing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous call center or dispatch experience is preferred.
