About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Elite Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Austin, Texas. In this armed security role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. You will support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screening, subject to applicable laws. Licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security-related professional, or graduation from a certified law enforcement program.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for this armed role.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to a professional environment through teamwork and integrity.
