About The Position

The Eligibility Assistance Specialist facilitates access to Medicaid, Medicare, and disability programs by conducting face-to-face interviews. The role works with the team to complete quality management and utilization processes as needed, supporting quality service delivery and maximum reimbursement approval and receipt. The specialist helps ensure timely completion of quality reviews for all levels of documentation and provides staff training related to quality management.

Requirements

• An associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a human service-related field or business; alternatively, a high school diploma with three years of experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least three years of experience working within the provision of insurance-funded services is preferred.
• Experience submitting and tracking authorizations for insurance payments for behavioral health services is preferred.
• Speaking multiple languages may qualify new employees for additional compensation.
