Eligibility Assistance Specialist - Community Support Services
About The Position
The Eligibility Assistance Specialist facilitates access to Medicaid, Medicare, and Disability programs by conducting face-to-face interviews. The role works with the team to ensure that quality management and utilization processes are completed as needed, helping provide quality services and secure maximum approved reimbursement. The specialist also helps ensure timely quality reviews of all levels of documentation and provides staff training related to quality management. Starting salary range: $39,488–$45,411. Additional compensation will be considered for new employees who speak multiple languages.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least an associate’s degree in a human service-related field or business; alternatively, a high school diploma with three years of experience will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least three years of experience working within the provision of insurance-funded services is preferred.
- Experience submitting and tracking authorizations for insurance payments for behavioral health services is preferred.
- Speaking multiple languages may qualify new employees for additional compensation.
