Elevator Service Technician
About The Position
Southeast Elevator is seeking an experienced Elevator Service Technician to service, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain residential elevators. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, effective customer-facing communication, a positive attitude, and proven troubleshooting, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. The role requires delivering safe, high-quality service and handling the physical workload required in a fit-for-duty assessment. The company designs, builds, installs, and services custom residential elevators, with service technicians located across several states.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing residential elevators.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and elevator troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle the physical workload required in a fit-for-duty assessment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with customers.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Elevator Technician certification or an Elevator Mechanic License.
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and troubleshoot elevator equipment as needed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on an assigned elevator route.
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
