Elevator Technician III
About The Position
The Grain Elevator Technician III performs all Grain Elevator Technician I and II tasks with minimal supervision and has at least three years of experience working in a grain elevator. The role also performs all aspects of grain elevator maintenance, including welding, cutting, fabrication, installation, lubrication, repair and replacement, and troubleshooting. Employees are responsible for their own safe work behavior and the safety of coworkers. The position requires a positive, forthright attitude that supports a collaborative, respectful, and diverse corporate culture, along with professional conduct.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent training.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a grain elevator.
- Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles.
- Maintenance experience and mechanical aptitude.
- Proven ability to improve elevator operations.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as the MS suite and agricultural software such as Agris and One Weigh.
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to support a team-oriented and inclusive approach with integrity and reliability.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with employees and customers.
- Ability to understand and follow all safety guidelines.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
