About The Position

The Grain Elevator Technician III performs all Grain Elevator Technician I and II tasks with minimal supervision and has at least three years of experience working in a grain elevator. The role also performs all aspects of grain elevator maintenance, including welding, cutting, fabrication, installation, lubrication, repair and replacement, and troubleshooting.

Each employee is responsible for their own safe work behavior and the safety of coworkers. The technician is expected to maintain a positive, forthright attitude that promotes a collaborative, respectful, and diverse corporate culture, and to conduct themselves professionally and favorably.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent training.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a grain elevator.
• Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles.
• Maintenance experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Proven ability to improve elevator operations.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as MS Suite and agricultural software programs such as Agris and One Weigh.
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to support a team-oriented and inclusive approach with a high level of integrity and reliability.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with employees and customers.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety guidelines.
