About The Position

Cargill is hiring an Elevator Operator for its Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. The role supports facility operations involving agricultural products and requires adherence to safety practices in industrial and agricultural settings. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, paying $27.11 per hour.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in varying weather and in industrial and agricultural settings.
Ability to work in elevated areas of 4 feet or higher.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Perform facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain.
Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to support ongoing facility operations.
Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
