About The Position

Cargill is hiring an Elevator Operator in its Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. The position performs facility operations involving the receipt and shipment of products, which may include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain. It also involves basic equipment maintenance and operator care, customer service, and compliance with safety requirements. The role is full-time with rotating shifts and starts at $29.90 per hour.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in various weather, industrial, and agricultural settings.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

Basic mechanical aptitude.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain.
Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to support ongoing facility operations.
Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
