About The Position

Cargill is a family company providing food and agricultural solutions. This position is part of the Ag & Trading enterprise, which connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds through origination, trading, processing, and distribution, and provides farmer services and risk management solutions.

The Elevator Operator performs facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain. The role also involves basic equipment maintenance and operator care, customer service, teamwork, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment while following safety rules and regulations. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in various weather, industrial, and agricultural settings.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a driver’s license.

Responsibilities
