About The Position

Cargill’s Ag & Trading enterprise connects producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the world through origination, trading, processing, and distribution, and provides farmer services and risk management solutions. The Elevator Operator performs facility operations involving the receipt and shipment of products that may include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain. The role also includes basic equipment maintenance and operator care, customer service, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, clean workplace while following safety rules and regulations. Other duties may be assigned. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts and compensation of $27.11 per hour. The job does not include relocation reimbursement.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Able to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Able to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills.
Able to work in varied weather, industrial, and agricultural settings.
Able to work in elevated areas of 4 feet and above.
Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.
