About The Position

The Elevator Operator supports daily grain handling operations by safely receiving, storing, drying, cleaning, and shipping bulk commodities. The role involves operating equipment, completing inspections, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure product quality and consistent material flow. The work takes place in a fast-paced agricultural environment requiring attention to safety, teamwork, and operational discipline. The position is located in Atchison, Kansas, and pays $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Understand and communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be able to work indoors and outdoors in cold or warm production settings, including guarded areas at heights from 4 to 150 feet, while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations, including receiving and shipping products such as fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain.
• Provide basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to support ongoing facility operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
• Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
