About The Position

Residential Elevators is hiring a full-time, paid Elevator Install Mechanic Apprentice in the Naples, Florida area. The role is intended for someone beginning a long-term career in the elevator trade. Apprentices receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced elevator mechanics, learning to install and service custom residential elevators. Most apprentices are promoted within 12–18 months to Service Technician or Installation Mechanic, with stated post-promotion earning potential of $60,000–$90,000 or more. Starting pay is $18–$24 per hour. The position involves travel up to 90%, mostly regional travel from Naples, Florida.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able and willing to travel up to 90%.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more and performing hard physical work.
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces.
• Knowledge of safe hand-tool use.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or elevator industries.
• Military background; veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Customer-first attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install residential elevators through hands-on training and mentorship.
