About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time, in-person Elementary ELA Tutor to provide literacy support to students in grades K–5. The tutor will work with small and large groups, use information about class assignments, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, communicate consistently with Study Smart staff, and partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies. Scheduled hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 9:15 AM EST. A completed four-year degree and teaching certification are required; teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired. Applicants must complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
