About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time tutor to provide in-person English Language Arts (ELA) support to 10th-grade students in Waldorf, Maryland. The tutor will work with small and large groups, use information about class assignments, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, and communicate consistently with Study Smart staff. The tutor will partner with Study Smart’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies for students.

The schedule is Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM EST. The position requires a completed four-year degree and passing a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities
