T26/27- ELEM CLASSROOM TEACHER (Claremont Immersion)
About The Position
Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Elementary Classroom Teacher at Claremont Immersion. The teacher will implement instructional programs that address students’ needs, interests, and abilities; maintain a safe and orderly classroom; communicate with parents and guardians; and monitor student achievement. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with school and community stakeholders, and participating in ongoing professional learning and meetings. Candidates must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK–6. Additional endorsements and experience are described below. Salary is based on the FY2026–27 salary schedule, with a stated T-Scale range of $56,458–$144,723.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK–6.
- Teaching experience in the areas mentioned in the posting.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
Nice To Haves
- A dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in another content area, is preferred but not required.
