T26/27- ELEM CLASSROOM TEACHER (Claremont Immersion)
About The Position
Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Elementary Classroom Teacher at Claremont Immersion. The teacher implements instruction that meets students’ needs, interests, and abilities; maintains a safe and orderly learning environment; communicates with families; and monitors student achievement. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records and collaborating with school staff, families, and community members. The position includes attending ongoing professional learning and meetings. Salary is based on the FY2026–27 salary schedule, with a T-Scale range of $56,458–$144,723.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK–6.
- Teaching experience in the areas mentioned in the posting.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language, Special Education, or another content area is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
