About The Position
Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Elementary Classroom Teacher at Carlin Springs Elementary School. The teacher implements instructional programs suited to students’ needs, interests, and abilities, using appropriate instructional materials. The position includes maintaining a safe and orderly classroom, communicating with parents and guardians, maintaining complete and accurate student records, collaborating with school administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, families, and community members, and monitoring and assessing student achievement. The teacher also attends ongoing professional learning and meetings. Salary is based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule, with a T-Scale range of $56,458–$144,723. Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK-6.
- Teaching experience in the areas listed in the posting.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.

- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in another content area.
