About The Position

Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Elementary Classroom Teacher at Carlin Springs Elementary School for the 2026–27 school year. The teacher implements instructional programs suited to students’ needs, interests, and abilities; maintains a safe and orderly classroom; communicates with families; keeps student records; collaborates with school and community partners; monitors student achievement; and participates in professional learning and meetings.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK–6. Teaching experience in the relevant areas, knowledge of effective instructional practices, the ability to integrate technology, and experience in educational or instructional leadership are listed. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or another content area, is preferred but not required.

Salary is based on the FY2026–27 salary schedule, with a listed T-Scale range of $56,458–$144,723. Arlington Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements
