About The Position

Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Elementary Classroom Teacher at Innovation Elementary School. The position involves delivering instruction tailored to students’ needs, interests, and abilities, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom, communicating with families, and collaborating with school staff and community members. Salary is based on the FY2026-27 T-Scale schedule and ranges from $59,429 to $139,828.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education PreK-6.
• Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas.
• Knowledge of best instructional practices.
• Ability to integrate technology.
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership.

Nice To Haves

• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in another content area, is preferred but not required.
