About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Electronics & Housewares Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role supports a welcoming shopping experience and works closely with store management to strengthen teamwork and pride of ownership. Daily work includes serving customers promptly and courteously, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring sales clerks receive required breaks. Other tasks may include replenishing inventory, keeping department fixtures clean and well-stocked, and helping train new employees on department responsibilities. The position is with Bi-Mart, a community-based, employee-owned retailer serving Northwest communities. The stores are generally open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday; hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. The listed pay range is $19.30–$20.95 per hour, paid bi-weekly, with an on-demand payment option.

Requirements

At least one year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to set priorities and organize workload.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Capacity to think strategically and lead.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.

Responsibilities
