Electronics & Housewares Clerk
About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Electronics & Housewares Clerk to join its store team. The position helps build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service while contributing to a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Duties may include serving customers promptly and courteously, replenishing inventory, stocking and maintaining merchandise, cashiering, and accurately processing customer transactions. Store hours are 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Saturday–Sunday; employee hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. The listed pay range is USD $16.10–$19.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Arrive on time with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Be precise, set priorities, and organize workload.
- Solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
- Engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
- Experience with retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
- Knowledge or experience with photography and other electronics-based hobbies.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly service and assist a variety of customers.
- Help ensure the department is well stocked through inventory replenishment and stocking.
- Maintain merchandise.
- Handle cashiering and customer transactions accurately.
- Help create a welcoming shopping experience and maintain a high level of customer service.
