They are seeking a Security Project Manager to lead a team of Security technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom, and other low voltage systems for clients in Northern Virginia. The Project Manager will coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously with the help of local engineering, sales, and technical staff. The ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned projects, ensure robust communication with customers and the team, and meet all stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of multiple projects, reporting job status, schedule updates, risk mitigation steps, changes, and material needs throughout the project lifecycle. The PM will lead a team of Senior/Lead Techs, Jr Techs, and subcontractors. Applicants must have Property Technology Security backgrounds.

Requirements

• Previous project management in electronic security systems field
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• 5+ Years previous experience with electronic security systems required

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, Fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus
• Direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint training certifications highly desired but not required
• Training and Certifications in the above product lines and PMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Project Management experience in an electronic security system environment
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is done as is expected by i2G systems and all stakeholders
• Strong communication skills (within the i2G team, with customers, and subcontractors)
• Ability to read and understand security system drawings as well as electrical and civil drawing packages
• Experience managing integration engineers that program electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection, CCTV)
• Maintain project equipment inventory, red-line drawings, and quality
• Assist with creating proposals as needed
