About The Position

The Electronic Security Project Manager coordinates and delivers integrated security projects, including access control, video surveillance, intercom, and related systems. The role works closely with sales, engineering, field technicians, subcontractors, and customers to manage projects from kickoff through closeout. It may suit someone with construction or technology project management experience, or an installer or technician seeking to move into project management.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related role.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a team-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple active projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; required.
Must complete comprehensive background checks and a physical.
Work at a non-smoking, drug-testing facility.

Nice To Haves

Background in electronic security, low-voltage systems, or access control is highly preferred.
Experience with D-Tools or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage electronic security projects from planning through completion.
Coordinate schedules, materials, and resources with internal teams and subcontractors.
Communicate regularly with customers, provide updates, and maintain strong relationships.
Review drawings, submittals, and change orders to keep projects on track and within scope.
Collaborate with sales and estimating during handoff and throughout project execution.
Oversee installation progress and quality standards in coordination with field technicians.
Track project budgets, timelines, and documentation through D-Tools and SharePoint.
Support close-out documentation, commissioning, and customer training.
