About The Position

The Electrician performs duties at Enmarket Arena during events and non-event days, helping control, maintain, and monitor the arena’s electrical systems throughout the facility. Under the guidance of the full-time Electrician, this role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and other building assets as needed. The position also supports arena operations and operates and maintains a range of equipment.

The role pays $20.00–$25.00 per hour and is part-time. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. The posting is scheduled to remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and related materials.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within stringent schedules while producing accurate results.
• Ability to work independently and exercise proper judgment in routine matters.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests, and others encountered during employment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including accessing all areas of the facility, lifting and carrying heavy objects, moving, climbing, and working at various heights.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• College or technical school degree preferred.
• Understanding of LEED-certified buildings preferred; willingness to take initiative toward learning LEED.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Enmarket Arena electrical systems, including line- and low-voltage systems, HVAC, and other building assets as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot building systems using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Assist with operating Enmarket Arena during event and non-event modes as scheduled.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including forklifts, Zambonis, hand tools, power tools, and pickup trucks.
• Assist in all areas of operations as needed.
