Electrician Instructor (Part Time)
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking a part-time Electrician Instructor for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The instructor will teach the accredited curriculum and provide hands-on training in a fully equipped facility, helping students develop practical electrical systems skills. The role includes teaching safety and industry compliance, supporting student professionalism and growth, assessing and communicating progress, and preparing students for careers in the field. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry experts transitioning into teaching. The position offers a four-day work week.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the residential, commercial, or industrial electrical industry.
- Experience installing and servicing electrical equipment.
- Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge or experience with motor controls, lighting controls, or solar.
- Experience or knowledge of low-voltage systems.
- Teaching experience.
